PESHAWAR: A case has been filed against three sub-inspectors of the Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for seeking departmental help for appointment in the institution.
FIA sources said that the case was lodged by the anti-corruption circle against the three officers. Two other cases have also been lodged against them, while the investigation is underway.
A press release issued by FIA read, “FIA Anti-Corruption Circle, Islamabad arrested three newly recruited sub-inspectors namely Ms Kainat Mumtaz, daughter of Mumtaz Ahmed, Ms Rimsha Mumtaz, daughter of Mumtaz Ahmed and Shahroom Khan, son of Juma Khan.”
It said that the accused maneuvered their selection for appointment as sub-inspectors in the FIA by using unfair means with the help of OTS staff.
