 Cars worth millions of rupees destroyed in Karachi wall collapse incident

KARACHI: Cars worth millions of rupees destroyed as wall of parking lot of Badook Wala building collapsed on I I Chundrigar Road in Karachi as rain lashed the city on Friday evening.

Vehicular traffic got jammed, electricity supply suspended, gutters started overflowing, stormwater drains choked because of negligence and incompetence of the local administration of the metropolis as heavy rain pounded the city.

Trees in different parts of Karachi also fell to the ground due to rain and wind.
