California forest fires, Trump dismisses climate change fears

WASHINGTON: A wildfire in California has wreaked havoc, with President Trump dismissing concerns about climate change during a visit to devastated California.

According to the details, US President Donald Trump visited California today where about 22 million hectares (5 million acres) area has been destroyed due to large scale forest fires.

A fire that has been raging since early August has killed 36 people and injured dozens. While environmentalists and scientists are calling it a major threat to climate change, Trump has blamed forest management for the crisis.

When a journalist in California asked President Trump if forest fires would affect climate change, Trump said he held forest officials responsible. “I think it’s an administrative crisis.”
