CAA extends suspension of domestic flights for another 16 days

The CAA has extended the ban on domestic flights for another 16 days.
The suspension of domestic air operations, which was earlier scheduled to resume after May 13, has been extended for another 16 days, according to the Civil Aviation Authority, though special flights and chartered planes are exempted from the ban.
In Pakistan, domestic and international flights have been suspended since last month because of the coronavirus shutdown, which has been phasing out in recent days.
It should be noted that the decision to close public transport, inter-provincial transport, rail service, and air operations remains in place, given the easing of the lockdown across the region.
