Punjab’s chief minister Usman Buzdar said companies would be reopened in stages by implementing standard operating procedures (SOPs).
CM Punjab had a meeting on Sunday (May 3), in Lahore, with a delegate from All Pakistan Textile Mills Association (APTMA), according to the data.
CM said the issues faced by the business community will be resolved per priority basis.
He further said a committee was created in this regard under the supervision of Aslam Iqbal, Punjab Minister of Industry.
The CM told the business community that they would obey the precautionary measures throughout the dealings.

In response to Post-COVID 19, chaired by CM Punjab at 90 Shahra, Lahore, Chief Minister Office arranged a high-powered meeting on the Government’s proposal for the future economic growth strategy for Punjab.
During the meeting, the Chief Minister addressed the dream of Pakistan’s Prime Minister in combating COVID-19 and the aim of the Government to provide immediate relief to citizens in distress. He said the government has been able to keep the situation under control by taking prompt steps such as implementing a lockdown and improving health care facilities.
