 Burewala: 8 injured in a bus accident

On Tuesday morning, at least eight people got injured after a passenger bus collided with a truck in Burewala due to dense fog.

According to a rescue official, the accident took place because of low visibility and the injured were shifted to a DHQ hospital.

Different parts of Punjab have been covered with fog for the past four days. Lahore, Multan, Vehari, Burewala, Okara, Khanewal and Bahawalpur have been affected the most.

According to reports, many motorways and highways have been closed for traffic. Motorway M-2 connecting Lahore and Khanqah Dogran along with Multan’s Motorway M-4 and M-5 has been closed.

People have been advised to use fog lights while driving and avoid unnecessary travel, said motorway officials.
