Special Assistant to Prime Minister for Overseas Pakistanis and Human Resource Development Zulfi Bukhari has denied the rumors that he recently visited Israel.
The rumors are the result of a report by an Israeli newspaper which claimed that an adviser of PM Khan had visited Israel in November on his British passport.
According to the report: Pakistan has shown interest in developing diplomatic ties with Israel in return for its support “to halt Pakistan’s current cold situation with the Arab countries as well as to support it on many international issues”.
Bukhari has clarified that he was with the deputy commissioner in Rawalpindi that day. In a statement he has also mentioned, “Media which is clearly Indian and Israel sponsored and shows the opposition utter frustration to create some controversy.”
Earlier, the Foreign Office has also denied such kind of allegations regarding normalising ties with Israel.
