ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi has said the real brutal face of India stands exposed before the world.

“Now the world is criticizing India for the reign of oppression it has unleashed against millions of Muslims in occupied Kashmir,” Shah Mehmood Qureshi said while speaking to the people at Islamabad airport on his return from a three day successful visit to Geneva where he apprised the UN Human Rights Council of blatant Indian human rights violations in occupied Kashmir.

He said Pakistan would continue to raise voice for the rights of Kashmiri people at every forum.

The foreign minister emphatically stated that the Kashmiri people were not alone in their just struggle for right to self-determination.

He said Pakistan would continue to extend moral, political and diplomatic support to their Kashmiri brethren.

At the airport, a large crowd gathered around the FM and raised slogans ‘Long Live Pakistan, Kashmir will become part of Pakistan.’

Talking to media after addressing 42nd session of the UN Human Rights Council in Geneva on Tuesday, Qureshi had said international media and world human rights organizations were exposing India’s gross human rights violations in occupied Kashmir in their reports.

He had said an environment against India’s narrative about Occupied Kashmir had developed at international level.

The minister had said parliamentarians in Europe as well as the US Congressmen were giving statements one after the other expressing their concern over the situation in the occupied Kashmir.

Shah Mahmood Qureshi had said during his meeting with the OIC ambassadors, he emphasized that Muslim Ummah should play its role on Kashmir issue.

He had said Pakistan always supported Ummah on Palestine issue and hoped the OIC to play its role regarding Kashmir.
