MARDAN: The police have arrested two brothers in Mardan for allegedly murdering a man in Rawalpindi in the name of honor four years ago.
The murderers are identified as Ishaq and Jamtol. According to the Pirwadhai police, the brothers killed Jalaluddin on 25th January, 2016 for marrying their ex-sister-in-law.
Jalaliddin was a laborer in Rawalpindi’s Bangash Colony and fell in love with the suspect’s sister-in-law. The couple then ran away and got married.
The woman had left the suspects’ brother, who had been working and living in Saudi Arabia after their marriage.
According to details, he suspects had called Jalaludding to a place in Bangash Colony and then attacked and killed him. The suspects’ mobile data shows that they were present at the murder site.
The brothers, however, have denied the allegations. They told the police that they were unaware about the murder.
Ishaq said that he was in Mardan when Jalaluddin was murdered.
The suspects’ father is also being investigated, said the police.
