Ijaz Hakim, who hails from the Indian state of Kerala, married Ajna Nizam on December 29, and in the meantime, Ajna surprised everyone by demanding 100 books as mehar instead of any money or jewelry.

Ejaz found Ajna’s wish sweet that he even bought 96 books for his wife till the wedding day.

According to Ejaz Hakim, he had decided together with his wife that he would not tell anyone about the mehar Ajna has asked, but some of his friends shared photos of the two on social media.

Books given by her husband to Ajna include various books include the Quran, the Bible, history and economy based.
