Breaking stereotypes – Anjuman weds at 64

The poster girl of Punjabi cinema of 80s and 90s, Anjuman Shaheen has walked down the aisle with director and producer Waseem aka Lucky Ali.
Her Nikkah was solemnized at a private ceremony on June 17 in company of the couple’s relatives and friends. Waseem has gifted Anjuman a house and a car.
This is her second marriage. Her first husband, Mobin Malik was shot dead on Eid day in 2013 in Lahore. She has two sons and a daughter from her first marriage.

The Punjabi film actress shot to stardom in the 1980s and 1990s featuring in blockbuster movies like Wadey Ki Zanjeer (1979), Sher Khan (1981), Chan Varyam (1981), and Sala Sahib (1981).
She has worked in lead roles alongside legendry actors including Sultan Rahi, Waheed Murad, Nadeem and Mohammad Ali.
Anjuman’s last two movies were Jatti Da Vair in 2000 and Ik Dhee Punjab Di, both were big hits at the box office.
