KARACHI: Acclaimed British boxer of Pakistani origin Amir Khan has trolled Indian pilot Abhinandan in a video he posted on his social media account.
Amir Khan can be seen grinning from ear to ear while mimicking Abhinandan, who was captured by Pakistani forces in February this year following a dogfight along the Line of Control (LoC). When Abhinandan was asked about the tea he was sipping while in custody here, he had said, “The tea is fantastic.”
Amir Khan in the video said, “Fantastic tea (is) Kashmiri tea.”
Using his personal Twitter account, Director General Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) Maj Gen Asif Ghafoor has thanked the King Khan for the video.
The boxer on Tuesday visited Pakistani side of Kashmir near the Line of Control to show his love for the people of the valley and express solidarity with the residents of Indian held Kashmir. Khan has vowed to incessantly raise voice for the Kashmiri people.
“People are being tortured and children are being killed. I was watching all of this on my television in Britain, but I could not stay silent,” he said.
