 Blast in Sibbi Balochistan, 3 killed 35 injured

Sibi: Several people have been injured in an explosion at the Officer’s Club after the President’s convoy passed by on Sibi Jail Road.

A blast was heard near a local rest house on Jail Road in Sibi area. Initial reports said that 35 people were seriously injured in the blast.

The blast was so powerful that it shattered the windows of nearby cars and buildings, while the sound of the blast could be heard in the distance.

According to rescue sources, the injured were being shifted to Sibi Civil Hospital, while security forces cordoned off the area as soon as the incident was reported.

The report said that three persons including two FC personnel were martyred in Sibi blast.

President Dr. Arif Alvi has also arrived in Sibi today on a one-day visit for the closing ceremony of Sibi Mela.
