LAHORE: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Wednesday said that he was ready to debate with Prime Minister Imran Khan on television.

“I am ready to talk with Imran on TV channel. If he has any courage then he should come and face me. We have challenged Imran Khan to debate with me in the parliament. The PM has no courage to speak in front of us,” Bilawal Zardari said while addressing media in Lahore.

He said Imran Khan was not ready to become prime minister of the entire country. He was happy that he was prime minister on PTI’s Facebook and Twitter accounts. He said the PTI government provided relief to elites in the name of poor.

The PPP chief said people were robbed by dropping the ‘petrol bomb’. A tsunami of inflation stood before us, he added. He said effects of global economic crisis would be deeply felt in Pakistan.

He said in personal enmity they had reached such a level that he suspected that the PTI wanted to murder his father, Zardari. People know that Zardari was unwell, he maintained.

Bilawal said they did not want the NRO from the PTI government. While, he said, Imran gave so many NROs including the one to his sister first. He should tell us that how did she build properties in New York by selling sewing machines, he wondered.

Criticising the performance of Punjab Chief Minister Usman Buzdar, Bilawal said that on training CM was running the largest province of Pakistan that too amid pandemic situation. He said Buzdar was in quarantine for the last 2 years.
