Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to meet Shahbaz Sharif in jail today

Punjab Home Department has approved the request of Pakistan Peoples Party chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zaradi to visit PML-N president Shahbaz Sahrif at Kot Lakhpat jail. Both leaders are expected to meet today.

Shahbaz and his son, Hamza Shahbaz, have been serving imprisonment sentence in the Lahore jail since September this year in a case related to assets beyond means of income.

PPP and PML-N formed an alliance of 11 political parties, Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) against the government of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI). PDM has demanded the resignation of the government till 31 January next year. The development comes a day after the PDM held rally in Lahore
