Singer Bilal Saeed has apologized for shooting a video of the song at Wazir Khan Mosque in Lahore and announced that these scenes will not be included in the video of the song “Qubool Hai”.
In a video released on Twitter, Bilal explained that we only shot the marriage in the Wazir Khan Mosque, which hurt the feelings of the people and it was thought that we violated the sanctity of the mosque, but can not think of doing so.
“Due to a misunderstanding, it was thought that we played music in the mosque and violated its sanctity by dancing on it,” he said. Alhamdulillah, I am also a Muslim and I was trained in a Muslim family. I can’t even think of such a thing. I realize that what has happened has deeply hurt people’s feelings.
He added in the video statement that he did not play music or dance in the mosque. The management of the mosque there is also a witness to this. We did only a small dance move to take photos. One clip caused this misunderstanding, but I admit we made a mistake. Saba Qamar, and I all apologize to Allah Almighty because it is also in the Qur’an that Allah Almighty loves those who repent.
Earlier, Saba Qamar had also clarified on Instagram that the mosque administration was present during the shooting of the song and they are witnesses that no music of any kind was played. The introductory part of the video was shot in Wazir Khan Mosque in which the marriage scene is shown. It was not filmed with any playback music, nor is it part of the music track.
