 Big find by CTD in Malakand

The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has found a big stash of hidden arms and ammunition in the Malakand division of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on Tuesday (today).

As per the details, the armory was hidden by the terrorists in Malakand. CTD executed a well planned operation to recover the hidden arms. Kalashnikovs, pistols, LMGs were recovered by the CTD.

On the other hand, CTD has caught an absconded terrorist of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP). The terrorist is known by the name Mohammad Riaz Sartaj and the government had put up a reward of Rs 5 million on his head.

Reports state that the apprehended terrorist was wanted by the security agencies in the mosque blast case.

At least 33 people were martyred and 10 people were left critically injured in the 2009 mosque blast.

Interrogation is ongoing with the apprehended terrorist to track more absconded terrorists.
