 Big blow to Pakistan as Shan Masood gets head injury ahead of Pak-Ind high-octane clash

Pakistan’s middle-order batsman Shan Masood got injury after a ball hit his head during a practice session on Friday (today).

News of Masood’s head injury came just ahead of the high-octane Pakistan vs India clash in the ongoing T20 World Cup in Australia.

Pakistan Cricket Team is in Melbourne to play their opening match against arch-rival India in the T20 World Cup.

Both the teams will compete in their first match in the event on Sunday while the both teams are doing practice sessions for high-octane clash.

According to the spokesperson of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), Shan Masood was injured on the right side of the head by the ball during the training session in Melbourne on Friday and he has been shifted to the hospital for a scan.

“To know the nature of Shan Masood’s injury, he has been shifted to the hospital for a scan and the rest of the details will be released later,” he added.

According to reports, during the practice session, all-rounder Mohammad Nawaz played a shot and the ball hit Shan’s head and injured him.

Pakistan will begin their World Cup journey with a match against arch-rivals India on Sunday (October 23).
