Pakistan bagged 4 medals including 1 Gold, 1 Silver, 2 Bronze medals at the 12th South Asian Bodybuilding Championship held in Kathmandu, Nepal.
Almost 30 contestants from 7 different countries participated in the event which spread over 3 days.
Usman Umar, who hails from Lahore won gold in the fitness physique.
Meanwhile, Muhammad Sayed from Quetta bagged the silver medal in the bodybuilding category of 90 kg.

“The competition was tough but we held our nerves high and finished the event on high,” said Sayed
While Faheem Abbas, from Sialkot and Syed Fazal Elahi, who is from Karachi won bronze medals in the same 90 kg category.
“For us, it was an all-time opportunity and we hold it from both hands.” – Fazal

Sohail Anwer , Chairman Pakistan bodybuilding Federation confirms that Pakistan will be hosting the next championship event in 2020.
