Ben Stokes to donate test match fees to Pakistan’s flood-victims

England’s skipper Ben Stokes announced that he will donate the match fees earned from the bilateral test series between Pakistan and England to the flood-victims of South Asian country.
Ben Stokes said that it was very sad to see the floods that devastated Pakistan earlier this year and that the floods had a significant impact on the country and the people.
He furthered that the cricket has given him a lot in his life saying, “I feel it is only right to give something back that goes far behind cricket.”
“I will be donating my match fees from this Test series to the Pakistan flood appeal,” Stokes added.
He further hoped that the donation will help in the reconstruction of Pakistan’s flood-affected areas.
Stokes said, “To be back here after 17 years as a test side is very exciting. There is a sense of responsibility amongst and support group to be here is special.”
Notably, The English team is currently in Pakistan to play a Test series against the Green Shirts which is scheduled to take place on December 1.
The first Test will be played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. Later, the second Test will be hosted in Multan while the last Test will be played in Karachi.
