LAHORE: A 12-year-old beggar jumps into drain Nullah during an overnight Punjab police operation against beggars in Lahore.
On the directives of Capital City Police Officer (CCPO) Lahore Ghulam Mahmood Dogar, the Punjab Police carried out operation against the beggars in the Punjab’s capital during which a 12-year-old beggar boy jumped into a drain nullah as he feared the police.
According the sources, the boy was safely fished out from the Nullah by the rescue teams.
In August, a ten-year-old boy in Larkana jumped into a pond to escape being bitten by a stray dog but ended up drowning.
The body of Ali Dino Shaikh was fished out of the pond and shifted to Chandka Hospital’s emergency ward where doctors confirmed his death.
Speaking to the media, the boy’s father lamented the government was taking no steps to eliminate the menace of stray dogs. Incidents of children dying of dog bites are reported every other day, he added.
Earlier in 2020, the Shabqadar police in a successful operation arrested three terrorists of the banned outfit and saved Charsadda from catastrophe.
On the occasion of Muharram, Shabqadar police foiled a terror plot and arrested three dangerous terrorists. The arrested terrorists belong to a banned organization.

Among the arrested terrorists was a facilitator of a very dangerous terrorist commander who had met him many times in Afghanistan. Terrorists were planning terrorist plots in Muharram. They prepared a suicide bomber to attack Hawajawas police station.
Terrorists wanted to target police mobiles and police stations in Sarvo Kalay and Shabqadar. The group has also been involved in terrorist extortion and in the past targeted killings. Arrested terrorists have been handed over to CTD for further investigation.
