Ban on TikTok uplifted for the fourth time

The ban on the TikTok platform has been uplifted as confirmed by Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
According to the statement released by the PTA, it has restored TikTok on the assurance by the social media platform to control inappropriate content.
The PTA was in continuous contact with the management of TikTok.
The TikTok management has assured that any user who will be constantly involved in uploading immoral content will be immediately blocked from the platform.

PTA further added that the department will also continue to monitor inappropriate content on TikTok.
TikTok was banned on 21 July 2021 by PTA after complaints of so much indecent content being uploaded on the platform.
Previously TikTok was banned three times and this was the fourth instance that the application was banned and then the ban was uplifted by concerned authorities.
