Balenciaga selling ‘shoelace’ earnings in $261

International fashion brand Balenciaga is selling shoelace earnings of $261 which is equivalent to PKR57,230.

There are no diamonds or stones, those earnings are literally made out of shoelaces. The brand claims their “black bow earrings are made from shoelaces, highlighting Demna’s ability to incorporate everyday objects into the house’s jewellery collections”.

Netizens are debating how far these big labels would go for “fashion” after seeing the unjustified price of the bizarre item.

One of the Twitter users also sarcastically replied, “If you go out and buy the Balenciaga shoelace earrings you are a wild human (sic)”.

Previously, the brand was also under fire for selling a $1,790 luxury trash bag.
