Azerbaijan asks Armenia to instantly withdraw from occupied territories
Azerbaijan has asked Armenia to withdraw its forces from the Occupied territories and implement UN Security Council resolutions.
Azerbaijan’s Ambassador to Pakistan Ali Alizada, while speaking at a news conference in Islamabad, said his country wanted peace and the Azeri President had agreed to restart negotiations.
However, he said Armenia was acting contrary to the negotiation process and was trying to consolidate its illegal occupation of Nagorno Karabakh.
He urged the international community to take immediate and concrete measures for end of illegal occupation in Nagorno Karabakh.
On the other hand, Russia has invited the foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Armenia for talks in Moscow on Friday for a halt to military actions in the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict.
The invitation follows telephonic talks between heads of states of three countries.
