Azadi March Vandalism: Lahore ATC issues non-bailable arrest warrants of 12 PTI Leaders

The Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court (ATC) has issued non-bailable arrest warrants for 12 PTI leaders, including Shafqat Mehmood, Hammad Azhar and Yasmeen Rashid for allegedly damaging properties during the PTI’s 25 May Azadi March.

The other PTI leaders whose arrests warrants have been issued include Zubair khan Niazi, Murad Raas, Mian Mehmood-ul-Rasheed, Ijaz Chaudhry, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Yasir Gillani, Imtiaz Mehmood Sheikh, Nadeem Abbas and Andleeb Abbas.

During the hearing, the police sought release of non-bailable arrest warrants of 12 PTI leaders, which was granted by the court.

On the other hand, after the issuance of the warrant, the PTI leaders approached the court for interim bail.
