Azadi March protesters chant ‘Go Nawaz Go’

ISLAMABAD: In an embarrassing moment, a Jamiat Ulema e Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) leader urged the participants of Azadi March to chant ‘Go Nawaz Go’, a chant which had overly been used by the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) government during the government of the Pakistan Muslim League-N against its head Nawaz Sharif.

The Freudian slip was made by Maulana Ataul Haq Darvesh while addressing the crowd from the main stage in Islamabad.

After the leaders accompanying him on the stage corrected him, he realised his mistake and chanted ‘Go Imran Go’.

It may be noted that former prime minister Nawaz Sharif is critically ill and admitted to hospital. He is ally of the JUI-F in this protest against the ruling government.
