Chaudhary Anwar-ul-Haq inaugurated the ceremony by unfurling the flag while AJK PM Sardar Tanveer Ilyas addressed the foundation day ceremony.
He said that the government established in the region is the government of the entire state of Jammu and Kashmir, but India has not understood that Kashmiris will not agree to anything less than independence.
“United Nations is not fulfilling its responsibility in IIOJK but we will continue our struggle for the freedom of Kashmir as per the vision of former Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan,” he added.
The premier AJK said that, “Imran Khan wants the welfare of a common man and for Kashmir, further adding that, “if I have to spend my personal resources for the welfare of common man, I will not hesitate.”
He said that, “we will celebrate the joy of independence only when the Kashmiris of Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir (IILOJK) get freedom.”
AJK Foundation day is celebrated every year on October 24, to commemorate the independence from Dogra rule in 1947.
