Awn Chaudhry removed from advisor’s post, Shahbaz Gill steps down as spokesperson

LAHORE: Dr Shahbaz Gill has resigned from the post of spokesperson of the Punjab chief minister while Awn Chaudhry has been removed from the post of adviser to the Punjab CM.

Reshuffling in Punjab has started and big changes are expected in the province very soon.

In a tweet earlier in the morning, Gill said he had taken an important decision. In his resignation, he wrote, “I hereby resign from the post of official spokesperson to the Punjab CM.”

Asif Mahmood has replaced Awn as the CM’s advisor.
