ISLAMABAD: Minister for Aviation Ghulam Sarwar Khan has said that facilitators of fake degree holder pilots would be punished as per the law.

“Directions have been issued to pursue those involved in facilitation of those having fake credentials,” he said while talking to a local news channel.

To a query about Karachi and Chitral plane crash incidents, he said the reports regarding the tragic plane crash incidents would be made public by the end of this year.

On Sept 16, the local media had reported that the CAA had declared 180 out of 262 pilots, who were suspected of having dubious licenses, ‘qualified to fly’.

The inquiry report submitted to the Cabinet Division had revealed this. The probe report told that 82 pilots were involved in minor misconduct in their exams, therefore either their licenses will be cancelled or they will be suspended for one year.
