Australia Cricket Team to tour Pakistan in 2022

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has released the schedule of the Australian cricket team tour to Pakistan after a long wait of 24 years.
According to the schedule released by the Pakistan Cricket Board, the Australian team will tour Pakistan in March and April next year after 24 years, during which three Tests, three ODIs, and a T20i match will be played between the two cricketing nations.
Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board Ramiz Raja said, “I am delighted to welcome Australia to Pakistan. From a personal point of view, it pleases me no end that we’ll be engaged in a three-Test match series, connoisseurs delight.”

“Cricket Australia is excited about the prospect of touring Pakistan next year for what will be a highly anticipated series in a country so incredibly passionate about the game and their national team,” said Cricket Australia Chief Executive Nick Hockley.
According to the PCB, Test matches between the two teams will be played in Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi, while ODI and T20 matches will be played in Lahore only.
It should be mentioned that the Australian team had earlier toured Pakistan in 1998 in which 3 ODIs and 3 Test matches were played, both series were won by the Australian team.
Pakistan looks forward to the Australian tour of Pakistan after last-minute series cancellation by New Zealand and tour cancellation by England’s cricket team.
