At least 176 died due to heavy Monsoon rains across the country

At least 176 people have died in rain-related incidents across Pakistan in the past four weeks, the National Disaster and Management Authorities (NDMA) said on Friday.
According to NDMA, 176 people have died due to the ongoing rains since June 14 across the country. 66 people died in Balochistan, 38 people died in Sindh and 33 people died in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to heavy monsoon rains.
78 men, 47 women and 51 children have lost their lives across the country, the number of people injured due to rains has reached to 175, according to the report of NDMA.
NDMA said that 577 houses were destroyed and 894 houses collapsed due to rains in the country, more than 1400 cattle were lost, 8 bridges were damaged in Balochistan and 10 in Gilgit-Baltistan.
