At least 15 people dead in truck-van collision in Jamshoro

At least 15 people died and 10 others were left injured after a truck and van collided at the Indus Highway in the Jamshoro district Wednesday, said SSP Hyderabad.
According to SSP Jamshoro, two more injured in the accident on Indus Highway succumbed to their injuries while undergoing treatment at the hospital.
SSP said, the accident took place near Manjhand in which 15 people were died and ten others injured being treated at a local hospital.
SSP Jamshoro added that, the dead and injured were from Kandiaro town of Nowshero Feroze district. All the labors were on their way to work in a salt factory in Karachi.
Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, while expressing regret over the collision of Indus Highway Van and truck, has issued instructions to Commissioner Hyderabad, DC and SSP Jamshoro.
According to the spokesman, the Chief Minister Sindh has directed to extend all possible cooperation with the heirs of the deceased and said that the injured should be rushed to the nearest hospital for medical treatment and steps should be taken to send the bodies of the deceased to their respective areas.
