 At least 11 passengers killed as Air India crash landing in Kerala

In the Indian state of Kerala, an Air India plane skidded off the runway during a crash landing, killing 14 passengers, including the pilot, and injuring more than 100, including 15 in critical condition.

According to Indian media, the police said that the plane coming from Dubai had 190 passengers on board. After the crash, the plane split in two.

The Boeing 737 crashed at 7:40 p.m. due to heavy rain. Monsoon rains are also continuing in India and the plane had to make a crash landing and crash due to very low visibility due to heavy rains.

Rescue operations are underway at the scene after the accident.

Expressing deep sorrow over the accident, Prime Minister Imran Khan has prayed for the bereaved.
