 At least 11 died in passenger bus-tanker collision on Jamshoro road

At least 11 passengers including women and children were died and 13 were injured after a passenger bus collided with a tanker on Indus Highway near Jamshoro.

The passenger coach was on its way to Karachi from Bahawalpur which met an accident at Indus Highway near Jamshoro.

According to SSP Jamshoro, two women and two children were among the 11 people who died in the horrific accident.

According to the police officials, the driver of both the coach and the truck also died in the accident, while the injured have been shifted to LUMHS Hospital, Jamshoro.

Rescue officials shared that the collision was so intense that the front part of the passenger van has been destroyed completely.

The accident took place due to the negligence of the van driver who tried overtaking the truck, rescue official said.
