Asst Commissioner’s guards open fire to scare shopkeepers in Quetta
QUETTA: Security guards of the assistant commissioner Quetta allegedly opened aerial firing to scare shopkeepers after the latter denied to cooperate with the local administration in implementing the coronavirus standard operating procedures.
The incident took place on Masjid Road before Haroon Shopping Centre. The shopkeepers were ostensibly not cooperating with the local administration in observing the business hours in accordance with the directives of the National Command Operation Center.
Pakistan has reported 4,487 positive cases of covid-19 with 142 deaths in the past 24 hours, according to the National Command and Operation Centre (NCOC).
Total 43,981 tests were conducted in the last 24 hours as the positivity percentage was measured at 10.20%.
