Asif Zardari will be charged on August 10 in Park lane reference case

The accountability court has ruled that the Park Lane reference against former president Asif Ali Zardari is a NAB case.
Asif Ali Zardari’s petition against the Park Lane reference being under the jurisdiction of NAB has been rejected. The accountability court has decided to charge Asif Ali Zardari on Monday, August 10.
In the Park Lane reference on Friday, the accountability court rejected the petition of former president Asif Ali Zardari’s lawyer Farooq Naik against the jurisdiction of NAB. The court today reserved judgment on the plea of Asif Ali Zardari after the completion of arguments.
In the Park Lane reference, NAB will present 61 witnesses against Asif Zardari after the indictment. Two former presidents of National Bank, Syed Ali Raza, and Syed Qamar Hussain have also become pardoned witnesses.
The accountability court judge said that all necessary instructions including a video link will be issued for the accused and copies of the verdict will be received by this evening.
