Asif Zardari reaches Dubai after name removed from stop list
ISLAMABAD: Former President Asif Ali Zardari has reached Dubai after his name removed from Exit Control List (ECL) by newly elect coalition government.
According to details, former president Asif Ali Zardari reached Dubai last night. Asif Zardari had left Islamabad by private plane after his name was removed from ECL.
PPP Co-Chairman met his daughter Bakhtawar Bhutto-Zardari and grandson Mir Hakim Chaudhry in Dubai.
It may be recalled that in December 2018, the federal cabinet of PTI had added the names of 172 people, including former president Asif Ali Zardari in the ECL.
Meanwhile, a petition has been filed in the Sindh High Court against the notification to remove the names of Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif and other 200 aides from the federal and provincial governments from the ECL.
Petitioner said that those whose names included in ECL were in serious cases. They looted national treasury and took money out of the country.
