Asif Zardari condemned the arrest of Mohsin Baig

Pakistan People’s Party Co-Chairman Asif Ali Zardari said that the manner in which Mohsin Baig was arrested is illegal.

Opposition parties have strongly criticized the government for cracking down on Mohsin Baig.

Asif Zardari has condemned the arrest of the journalist and said that the manner in which Mohsin Baig was arrested is against the law.

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto also condemned the arrest of journalist Mohsin Baig and said that it was not Imran Khan’s strength but his weakness that was shown. Mohsin Baig should be released immediately.

Opposition leader in the National Assembly Shahbaz Sharif tweeted that the arrest of the senior journalist was reprehensible and regrettable.

Arrest of Mohsin Baig, once a fast friend of IK, shows how panicked the regime is. Niazi sb gives long sermons on democray & morality but cannot stand even minor criticism. Free speech has vastly been curtailed in last 3.5 years of his rule. It is worst time in nation's history.

Maryam Nawaz wrote in a tweet, respect that Imran Khan’s wife has, should have been the same as that of my mother who was in ICU. But time has turned, no matter how much Imran Khan uses state power, he cannot save himself.

Sessions Court of Islamabad has ruled on the petition filed by the FIA against the detention of journalist Mohsin Baig in which raid on the house of Mohsin Baig has been declared illegal.
