 Aryan Khan could face upto 20 years in prison if convicted

Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan, who was arrested in a drug case, could be sentenced to 20 years in prison.

According to Indian media reports, Aryan Khan has been arrested under four sections of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act, under which the actor’s son could face up to 20 years in prison.

According to Indian media, Aryan Khan has been arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) under sections 8C, 20B, 27 and 35 of the NDPS Act, 1985.

Media reports say Aryan could face up to 20 years in prison if the allegations are true.

Section 20B due to possession of drugs while section 8C is a case of sale and purchase of drugs. In the case of section 20B, if the allegations are proved, he will be sentenced to 20 years.

It can be recalled that Aryan Khan was arrested by the NCB on October 2 in a case of drug use during a party on a cruise ship in Mumbai.

Earlier, Delhi police have detained six additional persons in the high-profile drug case involving big star Shahrukh Khan’s son, four from the Delhi event management firm that planned the two-day journey on the cruise ship from which narcotics were found.

The arrest is the latest move in the continuing police investigation into the narcotics case following the drugs seizure. With their arrests today, the total number of arrests in the case has risen to 16, according to local India media.

Namas’cray Experience Pvt Ltd, a cruise business located in Delhi, was charged with managing the event on board Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship. It was during this occasion that the NCB stormed Cordelia on Saturday and detained eight individuals, including Bollywood celebrity Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and his good friend Arbaaz Merchant.
