Aryan Khan bail denied in drugs case

Aryan Khan, son of renowned Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan, was refused bail in a cruise ship narcotics case by a Mumbai court.

Aryan Khan’s bail application was denied by Mumbai court Judge R.M. Nerlikar. Two other suspects’ pleas were also denied.

Satish Maneshinde, Aryan’s attorney, said the court that the 23-year-old, who was detained on Sunday, hails from a respected family and will not escape the country owing to his societal origins.

The attorney submitted judgements concerning his client in order to get his client freed on a bail bond.

Speaking on the Narcotics Control Bureau’s (NCB) allegations of the actor’s son tampering with evidence, his attorney stated that his client would not do it simply because he comes from a powerful family.

Satish Maneshinde said, “There are people roaming streets with much more serious offences.”

Maneshinde informed the court that his client was arrested based on his WhatsApp discussions and that no narcotics were recovered.

Earlier, during the inquiry, Aryan Khan reportedly acknowledged to using narcotics for the last four years while sobbing for hours.

The suspects were charged under Section 27 of the Indian Penal Code, which punishes the use of any type of narcotic drug or substance, and Section 8C, which punishes the accused for creating, manufacturing, or dealing in narcotics.

The phone of the son of Shah Rukh Khan was also seized in order to look for evidence of the suspects’ involvement in the narcotics case.
