Arrest of Safdar established existence of state above state in country: Maryam
QUETTA: Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) Vice President Maryam Nawaz on Saturday said that arrest of her husband Captain (retd) Safdar had established existence of state above state in the country.
She said this addressing a public gathering in Quetta, a day ahead of the Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM)’s rally.
On narrative of Nawaz Sharif, Maryam Nawaz said the Gujranwala rally speech was an eye-opener which should scare “some people” over reaction and support of thousands of people for that statement.
Nawaz said that state above state existed in Pakistan and arrest of Safdar after abducting Sindh IG had established its veracity.
He said the Sindh government and the people of the province did not only expose the conspiracy but they also foiled it.
Special Assistant to Prime Minister on Political Communication Shahbaz Gill on Friday said that the arrest of Pakistan Muslim League-N (PML-N) leader captain (retd) Safdar Awan was orchestrated by the PML-N and Pakistan Peoples Party.
Addressing a press conference in Islamabad, pointing towards Maryam Nawaz and Bilawal Zardari, he said the drama was orchestrated by the foster brother and sister.
“The cameraman is going everywhere and making video of arrest of Safdar which is run by a blue-eyed journalist and channel from London. The video maker was a professional man,” Shahbaz Gill said.
