Arooj Aftab bags Grammy Awards Nomination again
Brooklyn-based Pakistani vocalist Arooj Aftab gets nominated again in the Best Global Music Performance category of Grammy Awards 2023 for the song “Udhero Na”.
Arooj Aftab not only did her debut performance at the Grammy night in front of the greatest stars but also grabbed the Grammy Award in the category of Best Global Performance for her song “Mohabbat”.
She became the first Pakistani female to achieve this kind of milestone.
Now, once again Arooj’s song made it to Grammy nominations. Taking to Instagram, the singer announced that her new song “Udhero Na” gets nominated in the Best Global Music Performance category.
Arooj got nominated with Anoushka Shankar, a British-American sitar player who is also part of her song.
