Participants on this occasion rose slogans in support of the military forces.

General Bajwa said Sindh was an essence of Pakistan and the province had a crucial role in creation of the country. “We have the best army servicemen from Sindh, who are hard worker and loyal to their country,” he said.

On August 6, Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed had reaffirmed Pakistan Army’s support for Kashmiris in their just struggle for freedom from illegal Indian occupation.

“Pakistan Army firmly stands by the Kashmiris in their just struggle to the very end,” the army chief had said during a Corps Commanders Conference on Kashmir situation at the General Headquarters (GHQ) in Rawalpindi.

Prime Minister Imran Khan in a recent statement has said that Pakistan would not initiate a military conflict with India.

“We are both nuclear-armed countries and if tension escalated it may have adverse effects on all the world. We will not take the initiative of war,” he had warned.
