Army checkpoint attacked, soldier martyred: ISPR
Terrorists operating from Afghanistan resorted to unprovoked fire at a military check point in Mohmand, district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa due to which a Pakistani soldier embraced martyrdom, ISPR announced.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relation (ISPR), Pakistani soldiers responded swiftly. However, during the intense exchange of fire, a soldier of frontier corps, Spoy Fazal Wahid received bullets and he was martyred in the incident.
The slain soldier has been identified as 25 year’s old and the resident of Shangla, Swat.
