The survivor of the Army Public School (APS) terrorist attack in Peshawar, Ahmad Nawaz, has become a pride for Pakistan by getting elected to the Governing & Standing Committee of Oxford Union in the University Of Oxford.
Ahmad took to Instagram and announced, “Alhamdulillah I’m very excited to share that I have been elected to the Governing body – Standing Committee of Oxford Union in the @oxford – uni”.
“It’s an honor being part of one of the biggest platforms in the world!” Nawaz added.
Ahmad Nawaz received gun shots in one of his arm during the dreadful terrorist attack on 16 December 2014. In the massacre, his younger brother, Haris Nawaz was among the 150 students and teachers who were martyred by the militants.
