Apple has shut down its most popular Quran application in China

According to British media, Apple says that it has shut down the Quran application in China at the request of Chinese authorities.

As per British media reports, the Chinese government has also refrained from commenting on the matter.

According to British media, Apple Censorship, a website that monitors applications and the iOS App Store around the world, was the first to note the deletion of the application.

In this regard, the application company says that according to Apple, it has removed the application of the Holy Quran from its app store in China and this is due to the content contained in it, which requires documentation from the Chinese authorities.

The company said it was trying to contact Chinese cyberspace authorities to resolve the issue, but the application is currently not available to Chinese users.

There are so many Quran applications available on the Apple Store that are used by millions of Muslims around the world.

Since the news broke out, people on social media are expressing their concerns regarding the ban of the Quran application. According to many people, censoring religious content will kill the true meaning of harmony in the world.
