“Apology accepted”, Shaniera Akram applauds Resham for accepting her mistake
Shaniera Akram thanked actress Resham for unknowingly launching a nationwide campaign on littering.
Taking to Twitter, Shaniera wrote, “I actually want to thank Resham for what she did. Without really knowing it she single-handedly produced a nationwide campaign on ‘What not to do with your rubbish”.
She further added, “Not even a company spending thousands on a clean Pakistan campaign could get the publicity she did”.
In another Tweet, Shaniera Akram who is very active on the matter of climate change accepted the apology by Resham after her video went viral while throwing plastic in a river. She wrote, “I’m sure I speak for many when we say apology accepted Resham. It takes courage to admit when you have done something you are not proud of”.
She also asked Resham to work with her to fight climate change while stating, “I hope you will work with us to help fight climate change and use your influence to help make Pakistan clean and green”.
Previously, Shaniera Akram lashed out at Resham after her video went viral. She strongly condemned the irresponsible act by Resham of promoting littering culture.
