Khaby Lame, TikTok’s second most-followed celebrity, is apparently losing followers after posting anti-racism messages on TikTok and Instagram.
With 115 million followers, the Senegalese-Italian celebrity has been creating headlines for tempting Charli D’Amelio, who has 125.6 million, for a fight for the top spot of followers.
This time, his ascension to the top was derailed when some enraged followers opted to abandon him after he posted an anti-racist message on his Instagram Stories that read: “Say no to racism.”
After this, the number of followers seemed to take a dip. It appeared that people did not like his positive message and started to unfollow him.

This did not deter Khaby, who responded with another post in which he asked his followers to spread positivity and happiness around the globe.
“I’m seeing a lot of comments where people say: I unfollow you because you did this video,” he wrote.
He further added on his Instagram story post, “I don’t mind guys, we are almost in 2022 and people still use racism because they have nothing to do in their life. Be happy, follow your dream and save the planet. You can also unfollow me, I don’t care about the numbers I care about your hearts! If you do think of something new. Do it right and in a positive way!”
Khaby was very vocal about anti-racism. Many people on social media have supported him for his actions, expressing that it will bring positive change and tolerance in society.
