A man can been seen in a video, violating the privacy of woman who was sitting on the back of a motorcycle rickshaw during the celebrations of Independence Day.
The video emerged amid the debate over the incident at Minar e Pakistan in which a TikToker named Ayesha Akram was assaulted by around 400 men on August 14 as she went there for celebrating the country’s independence day.
The victim was seated with a boy and another woman in Qingqi rickshaw at a crowded street of Lahore, a man approached towards her vehicle and forcibly kissed her before running away.
Responding to the incident, Punjab police stated on social media that the culprit would be arrested with the help of CCTV footages.
According to a report, there were several other incidents of violence witnessed in Lahore’s Greater Iqbal Park during the midnight of August 13-14.
Security guards were beaten and the street lights were broken by a crowd of people.
