Another petrol bomb recommended by OGRA

The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) has proposed an increase in petrol prices of Rs 5.90 per litre.
The authority sent a report to the Petroleum Division in which it proposed raising the price of petrol by Rs5 per litre commencing October 16.
It also suggested raising the price of high-speed diesel by Rs10 per litre.
The Ministry of Finance will make the ultimate decision in this respect after consulting with Prime Minister Imran Khan.

Diesel and petrol prices have reached an all-time high in the Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf (PTI) era.
After the formation of the PTI government, on September 1, 2018, the price of petrol was Rs92.83 and the price of diesel was Rs 106.57 per liter. Now the new price of petrol has been fixed at Rs 123.30 per liter, with a total increase of more than Rs30 in three years. Diesel is available at Rs 120. 4 per liter.
In the PTI government, the price of petrol has so far increased by Rs 30.47 per liter. The price of diesel has so far gone up by Rs 13.83 per liter.
Citizens on social media are already rejecting further petrol price hikes recommended by OGRA as it will break down the back of common citizens of Pakistan.
